I came up with this idea for my lightbulb by wanting to show a lot of contrast. I really love a lot of different colors, so I used a colorful tropical fish . Getting the fish behind the wires was probably the hardest part in creating this image. All in all I found creating this image a lot of fun and if you scroll down you can see my garden of bugs lightbulb.
Since I really liked doing the fish in the lightbulb, I decided I wanted to do something different. I wanted to try and do another element than water, so I found this great picture of plants inside a lightbulb. I then thought of the idea to add a lot of different insects to the plants to make it interesting. I really wanted to have insects with different and interesting colors to make the lightbulb a colorful garden of insects.
The inspiration for my double exposure came from a song called She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. This song means a lot to me because it made me feel wanted and loved for the first time in my life. It inspires me to be different and it reminds me that someone will always love me.
For my hard light I decided to do this photo because of the dark shadows and I love the different colors. I took this photo in Arizona from my trip to the Fiesta Bowl with the Pickerington Central Marching Tiger Band.
For my transition lighting I decided to do this photo because the light coming in really inspired me. This is my grandparents new music room which they built onto their house. I really like the colors from the Christmas tree and the chairs.
For my soft light photo I decided to use this photo because the shadows are really light and the light comes through very well. I really liked the colors of this flower. Surprisingly this flower was fake and from far away they can fool you.
For my back lighting I chose this photo because I really liked the sun peaking out from behind the rough terrain. I love the colors and the horse shows up very well.
For my Depth Of Field I took a picture of my grandparent's backyard and I really love the sun peaking through. The snow also adds a lot of contrast and pizazz.
For my other Depth Of Field I decided to take a selfie because I couldn't think of any other ideas. In this photo I really like the colors of my hair.
For my first Shadow Depth Of Field I chose this butterfly picture because I really liked the sun peaking through in the background and the colors of the butterfly.
For my second Shadow Depth Of Field I chose this picture because I love the vibrant colors on the butterfly. I also was feeling pretty proud of myself because this is the best shadow depth of field photo I have ever took.
For my levitation I decided to do one where I am floating. I wanted to make it look like I didn't have control over what I was doing when I was "floating".
For my multiplicity I had an idea to have something involving cards. At first I wanted to make a recreation of an Alice In Wonderland but I decided I wanted to be different. So, I found some UNO cards and thought of the idea of inner battles.
This is another multiplicity I did, I wanted to create a picture where I had an eerie and creepy effect. I think I really captured that effect with this photo haha.
For my water color effect I decided to use a picture I took of the Grand Canyon from my band trip, to Arizona over winter break. I thought this picture would be perfect because it is a nice landscape and it also has a lot of nice colors.
For my business card I decided to use a cool portrait of myself. I really wanted to showcase that I can be creative and not just an ordinary photographer when people get the first impression.
For the back of my business card I decided to use a picture I took of the grand canyon to really showcase the diversity in what I am capable of doing. I also want to show that I don't limit myself to just what is around me.
For my first portrait I decided to do something different and wanted to be different. I saw this idea on the internet and I had to try it!
For my second portrait I I wanted to use this picture that really captured the idea of being trapped inside yourself. Yeager really helped me with editing this photo because I didn't know what to do with it. Thanks Yeager:)
For my first light painting I wanted to try to get some daylight into the picture and still be able to draw with the light. I want to try and get more pictures like this in the future.
For my second light painting I really wanted to do a painting with maroon 5 as my inspiration. They have helped me through the rough times and I wanted to show my love and appreciation. This was probably the hardest picture to do, it took me multiple tries and I still didn't perfect it but this is the best one.
For my commercial ad I decided to do a nail polish ad. I was really inspired by the ads in magazines where the nail polish is pouring out onto a plain white object. Instead I decided to do a levitating brush to make it a bit more interesting.
I decided to shoot portraits of my friend Mikayla and for the first one I did I decided to create a cool effect by her looking down the street.
For my second portrait I wanted to create a cute look by involving nature. So we used this tree by her house and I really like all of the different colors that went into the picture.
For my third portrait I wanted to do something involving a brick wall. Kelly volunteered and modeled for me and she did a wonderful job! I also really like the depth of the wall.
For my fourth portrait I wanted to have this vintage feel to the picture and I think her dress really adds to that feel.
For my final portrait I decided to do the criss cross pose and I really love the bokeh in the background.
